Thy Lord hath decreed, that ye worship none save Him, and (that ye show) kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, say not "Fie" unto them nor repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word (23).Al-Isra 17:23

And lower unto them the wing of submission through mercy, and say: My Lord! Have mercy on them both as they did care for me when I was little. (24) Al-Isra 17:24

The Prophet (sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said : May his nose be put down in dust, may his nose be put down in dust, then may his nose be put down in dust, the person who attends his parents, one or both of them, at old age and they did not facilitate for him to enter Paradise.

Talha Ibn Mu'aawiyyah Al Salamy (radiAllahu anhu) said: I came to the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and I said Oh Prophet of Allah I would like to go for Jehad . The Prophet (sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) asked me:Is your mother still alive .He said yes. The Prophet (sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) told me (Talha): go to her and be dutiful to her. She is your door to Paradise.
